Chris has been a practising Registered Nurse since 1986.  With nearly 30 years experience in various cardiology areas, her expertise includes both clinical and nursing management, in several countries around the world. She spent almost 10 years in the USA, in both the Surgical Cardiothoracic Intensive Care, and Interventional Cardiology areas.  Since her return to NZ, her achievements have included involvement in the set up the Cardiovascular Unit at Waitemata DHB, North Shore.  She loves nursing, and believes in high quality, patient focused care.

Outside of work Chris is a huge animal lover, and supports various animal welfare initiatives.  She currently has a dog, named Maggie, and a cat. She would love to run an animal rescue facility….maybe one day!
