Cardiology Institute 2019 Spring Symposium (North)

The Cardiology Institute Spring GP Symposium 2019 will take place on the 7th September 2019.
We are pleased to invite you to join us for this interactive half-day conference, where we aim to provide General Practitioners with relevant, up-to-date, topical heart care education.
The theme this time is "My approach to… "

Guest Speaker - Dr Dinar Jabin
Dr Jabin is a rheumatologist and general physician in North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. She has an all spheres of rheumatology with a special interest in inflammatory arthropathies, including rheumatoid, psoriatic, crystal arthopathies; and connective tissue disorder.
Guest Speaker - Dr David Kim
Dr Kim is an endocrine, diabetes specialist at Waitemata DHB. He is also a board member of osteoporosis New Zealand. He has been active in diabetes education in primary care, and runs excellent interactive diabetes care sessions in various GP CME programmes.
Guest Speaker - Dr Andy Salmon
Dr Andy Salmon trained as a nephrologist in the UK, Tauranga and Los Angeles. He joined the renal service at Waitemata DHB in 2014. He leads pre-dialysis and dialysis services in West Auckland, the renal quality programme, and is involved in developing symptom-focussed models of care in end-stage kidney disease.
The symposium has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 4 credits CME for the General Practice Educational Programme (GPEP) and Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS) purposes.
